About Seniors in Service

Seniors in Service is the proud sponsor of two AmeriCorps Seniors Programs, The Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion Programs. These programs encourage older adults, 55 years and older, to remain active and engaged in their communities through volunteerism. Volunteering is more than service, it is a pathway to health, connection, and purpose at every stage of life. Staying active and engaged supports both physical and emotional well-being, helping individuals remain strong, independent, and connected to the world around them.

At Seniors in Service , we believe meaningful volunteer opportunities create a powerful sense of purpose and fulfillment. Our volunteers don’t just give their time, they build relationships, share wisdom, and experience the joy that comes from making a real difference in someone’s life.
